Rebecca Bennett
Director and 3-5 Instructor

Education and Experience:
Rebecca has been teaching for the past 16 years in a variety of settings including special education, preschools, and public schools. Rebecca graduated from MTSU with a BA in elementary education, certified K-6. She has experience working with children of varying needs, and has a toolbox full of ways to individualize learning for each of her students. While teaching in public school, Rebecca was a tenured teacher who consistently earned positive evaluations.

Personal:
Rebecca lives in Spring Hill with her husband and three children. She loves to spend time with her family outdoors, read a good book, or workout.
Cassie Gillett
Assistant Director and Middle School Instructor
Education and Experience:
Cassie was a master teacher at Tennessee Connections Academy and headed up the Gifted and Talented program at International Connections Academy, prior to the launch of Liberty Learning. She has a Master’s Degree in Gifted and Talented Education from Arkansas University, in addition to her Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from DePauw University and over 16 years of teaching experience. Cassie is well versed in a variety of different learning disabilities, learning styles, and is dedicated to personalizing the learning experience for every student.

Personal:
Besides teaching at LLA, she teaches dance from age three to adult and group fitness. She has four children and three step children. Some of her children attend Liberty Learning Academy, so she understands both the teacher and parent perspective! Cassie is always on the go with her kids as she embraces learning experiences through many adventures.

Our mission is to create a program that engages every single student. We want to empower students to accomplish challenges and exceed their goals in a caring and supportive environment. At Liberty Learning we strive to provide parents with a value-based, comprehensive option to education with an end state of enabling our students to learn and thrive in an obstacle free environment.
About
Liberty Learning is a private tutorial that was conceived based on an overwhelming desire to create a unique opportunity that provides parents, students, and teachers with alternative choices to education.
At Liberty Learning, students and families are welcomed into a dynamic and supportive community. Students can expect to receive much more than an ordinary educational system. We pride ourselves on facilitating a unique learning environment that embraces all learning types, while promoting growth, both academically and personally.
Academic Excellence
Liberty Learning was created to provide a support system for new and seasoned homeschooling families. We offer a daily tutorial service that meets Monday through Thursday from 9am until 2pm. Our teachers teach all core subjects, including math, science, social studies, and literacy from a Christian Worldview perspective.

At Liberty Learning, we believe that an effective education doesn’t just come from memorizing or lecturing. The setting we provide is created to foster hands-on education where students can think critically and learn at their own pace through individualized lessons, all while in a constraint-free environment. Active participation in the learning process entails analyzing, discussing and collaborating - in order to comprehend and retain.
